[I bought myself a sub. Its been, five months since a journal, I KNOW that's a record, anyway uh I just need to get away, and stop trying to live my life on deviantart. It is not a journal. Nothing wrong with being personal on it but its about art and I forgot that I guess. In the past five months I stopped sketching around and my art teacher has been making me take my art much more seriously. I understand now that you need to finish pieces, and show that craftsmanship is important. Getting anal isn't a bad thing, being lazy is. I have made so much traditional art that I like. I just need to get around to scanning it. I also plan on spreading out when I submit it to get steady attention. I'm hoping to garner some attention with my art now, on DA and in real life, because I think it's starting to be of the caliber that deserves that. I know I'm rambling but anyway I have art and my plans are to be seen later, but I knowticed something that I did a lot was make promises about art I was planning on and wanted to get done. WHO WAS I MAKING THESE PROMISES TO!? No one. I stated to build up in my head how important it was to live up to that though. I couldn't handle the pressure, all put on by myself, and I never got anything done. Art can't be something I half like to do, half have to do. I can be both, but not at the same time. So now I plan on focusing on learning more, and doing lots of critiques, that new feature is the main reason I got a sub, and I love doing that. Also I suppose I am going to post my traditional art once I scan and take pictures of it more. So yea.]
